Our Story

My name is Zack, and I’m the owner and developer of Clear Cut Digital LLC. My journey in programming started in middle school and led me to study Computer Engineering in college. When my girlfriend at the time (now wife) found out she was pregnant, we knew we wanted to be home for our baby. So, I dedicated myself to my craft.

After finding success in SaaS, I found that what I excelled at was hand coding business websites. I realized my sites were consistently scoring perfect or near perfect on Google Lighthouse. People were even reaching out to say they loved my sites, which really meant the world to me. I knew then my calling had been in front of me the whole time. Luckily, my wife is a professional designer and was happy to volunteer for the business.

When I set out to simplify my workflow, I found that every website builder that claimed to be the answer came with trade-offs. Whether it was performance, security, accessibility, or originality, something always had to give. I knew I couldn't cut corners, so I committed to coding every site by hand. This approach has proven so effective that I wrote about why custom-coded websites outperform page builders. Pricing was another challenge: many businesses couldn't afford thousands upfront for a quality website, or didn't know who to trust. That's why I chose a $0 down and $150/month model. It's more accessible for small businesses and includes all support and maintenance.

How To Get Started

The process usually takes between 2-4 weeks, depending on how quickly we recieve the information and our current workload. Communication is essential, so you'll have direct access to the developer's phone 24/7 during and after launch.

Questionnaire
We’ll email you a form covering your business, services, and design preferences. From there, we handle the rest.
Design
Then, we do a video walkthrough of the first draft. We'll make any changes to ensure you're fully satisfied.
Development
After approval, we code and optimize your site, send you a demo link, and make any final tweaks before going live.
